Editorial:
Have you lost a brand new surfboard - unwaxed and completely unharmed in its boardbag - in the Exeter area recently? Hero Mike rescued it from being flattened and would like to return it. Further details in SurfClassifieds - Lost and Found - or call A1Surf on 01202 872124
As the years go by, there is an ever increasing fascination with the history of surfing in Britain. The latest exhibition, 'An Art History of British Surfing' opens at the Red House Museum in Christchurch, Dorset on May 3rd and runs through until June 14th 2008.
The exhibition is being held at a beautiful venue in the pretty town of Christchurch, sandwiched between the New Forest and some amazing surfing beaches.
There are several workshops and talks planned throughout the event thanks to the guys at Bournemouth Surfing Centre and Bournemouth Surf School. You can help publicise the event by printing out the POSTER asking local surf shops to display them. Full details including links to the Red House Museum are at: www.thesurfingmuseum.co.uk
Peter Robinson, the Director of the British Surfing Museum, is asking for help getting the word out about the latest surf history show. He can be contacted on 07801 522892
