A small long interval groundswell for today and tomorrow. Lighter winds tomorrow so it might be worth a go. Wind picking up from the north on Fri as a low moves into the North Sea. Onshore on Sat. Sun the best chance as winds back more west.

Mostly dry and cold, some sunshine.
Today:
Variable, rather large amounts of cloud at first, especially towards the northwest. Dry through the day with spells of sunshine developing in most parts, but still cold.
Tonight:
Dry, cold and largely clear in the south with a widespread frost and light winds. Cloudier towards the northwest at first, perhaps with a little sleet later.
Wednesday:
Bright at first. Soon clouding over with rain, sleet or snow, perhaps giving some temporary accumulations. Another cold day.
Outlook for Thursday to Saturday:
Continuing cold with clear or sunny intervals but also further showers, the showers falling as sleet or snow away from coasts. Windy on Friday.
