5 DAY SURF FORECAST LAST UPDATED ON FRI 19th MAR AT 6am
A difficult few days to forecast. Flat on Saturday but with a low to the NE of Scotland there is a chance of a small swell building during the day on Sunday. Winds onshore at first but backing west and falling light through the day. Models suggesting a wave lasting until Monday but I think the strong southerly wind will blow the swell flat.
Sat 20th. Flat.
Sun 21st. 1-2ft+ from the North@8sec. Wind 17mph NW backing 8mph W later.
Mon 22nd. 1-2ft from the North@8sec. Wind 22mph from the south.
WEATHER
Mostly dry and cold, some sunshine.
Today:
Variable, rather large amounts of cloud at first, especially towards the northwest. Dry through the day with spells of sunshine developing in most parts, but still cold.
Tonight:
Dry, cold and largely clear in the south with a widespread frost and light winds. Cloudier towards the northwest at first, perhaps with a little sleet later.
Wednesday:
Bright at first. Soon clouding over with rain, sleet or snow, perhaps giving some temporary accumulations. Another cold day.
Outlook for Thursday to Saturday:
Continuing cold with clear or sunny intervals but also further showers, the showers falling as sleet or snow away from coasts. Windy on Friday.
