Storms will quieten down a bit at the weekend but more storms are expected next week. there may be a short spell of north easterly winds and waves around the middle of next week
CHANNEL COAST (east of Start Point)
South westerly wind waves will develop and Friday should see some swells well up the channel. fading at the weekend but it could be quite stormy early next week but fading small later. - SoulSurfer

Rather cloudy with a few showers.
Today:
A rather cloudy day with not much in the way of bright or sunny spells. For most it will be dry although there will be the odd mainly light shower around. Fresh northerly winds.
Tonight:
A few clear spells at first this evening but generally a cloudy night with showers or longer spells of mainly light rain. Occasionally fresh northerly winds.
Wednesday:
After a rather cloudy start bright or sunny spells will develop, although there will still be the occasional shower around, especially for Orkney. Fresh northeasterly winds developing.
Outlook for Thursday to Saturday:
A few showers on Thursday but Friday looks largely dry with some sunny spells. Saturday sees a band of rain, sleet and snow spreading south and a strengthening northwesterly wind.
