Mostly small to flat. there's a good chance of some northerly wind waves and swells at the weekend for the spots that can catch them. They will be no bigger than medium but should provide a ride at the best spots and tide times - SoulSurfer

WEATHER
Mostly cloudy, occasional rain and drizzle. Possible hill snow.

Today:
Mostly cloudy and cold with occasional rain or drizzle, and perhaps some hill snow too. It may gradually brighten later in the east with a few sunny intervals.

Tonight:
The next band of showery rain will spread from the north, again cold, and with some snow over the Pennines.

Wednesday:
Another cold day with bright or sunny intervals but also further showers, these falling as sleet or snow away from coasts.

Outlook for Thursday to Saturday:
Continuing cold with clear or sunny intervals but also further showers, the showers falling as sleet or snow away from coasts.

NOTE: The above data is for deep water ocean swells, and does not mean that waves at the beach will be that size or direction. It does however provide a valuable indication of the swell size, direction and winds for the next 72 hours. The most reliable indication of actual conditions is an Eyeball Surf Report, as on most of our surf report pages.
