General situation for the East Coast
Updated Friday 4th July 2008
It now looks likely that you will have to wait until the middle of next week until you will get any significant northerly waves down the coast. So south to south easterlies at the weekend with a chance for northerlies in the extreme north. Size wise they will be generally small but may just make medium at the best spots and times. - SoulSurfer

NOTE: The above data is for deep water ocean swells, and does not mean that waves at the beach will be that size or direction. It does however provide a valuable indication of the swell size, direction and winds for the next 72 hours. The most reliable indication of actual conditions is an Eyeball Surf Report, as on most of our surf report pages.

Coldingham Bay is one of the cleanest, beautifull and best-sheltered beaches on the east coast, making it an ideal choice for the family holiday or a fun day at the beach. When the conditions are right surfing at Coldingham bay is as good as anywhere in Scotland. Surfer's travel regularly from as far as Glasgow and Edinburgh to catch the waves.
